IoT Evolution Expo's Battle of the Platforms Returns to Florida and Opens a Call for Applications

Attendee favorite competition returns to the leading IoT conference  in Florida in 2019.

Trumbull, CT – December 5, 2018 – TMC and Crossfire Media today announced the return of the highly-anticipated Battle of the Platforms competition at IoT Evolution Conference and Expo being held January 29 – February 1, 2019 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward Country Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Battle of the Platforms is an exciting opportunity for leading companies to present cutting-edge IoT platforms, and for businesses to hear and see what the market has to offer. This year’s competition will begin on Thursday, January 31st   at 5:00PM.

“The maturity of the platform market is a reflection of the scaling requirements needed for IoT solutions in the Enterprise. The emphasis on platforms for specific functions continues from managing development and corporate interfaces between OPs and IT, to Life Cycle Management,” Carl Ford, CEO, Crossfire Media, executive director of content, IoT Evolution. “We have brought back the Battle of the Platforms to highlight the progress and the achievements of leaders in the IoT market today.”

The Battle of the Platforms will provide participants the opportunity to demonstrate their platform live to a panel of judges, as well as an audience full of technology end-users and buyers. Judging will be based on the submission of a completed entry form plus the live demonstration.
