In a recent announcement, scriptr.io was given a 2020 IoT Evolution Community Impact Award for Saepio, an end-to-end SaaS and wearables solution to empower a safe transition from remote to physical interactions at the place of work during the pandemic.
The IoT Evolution Community Impact Award honors the best and most innovative products and solutions powering the Internet of Things.
“Congratulations to recipients of 2020 IoT Evolution Community Impact Awards,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC. “The solutions selected for the IoT Evolution Community Impact Award have proved to help make a difference as we battle the COVID-19 Pandemic. It is my honor to congratulate these winners for their superior contribution that empower citizens, companies, institutions, and government to continue their critical work in remote access settings.”
Saepio includes a range of wearable devices, a mobile app and a cloud back-end. The social distancing wearable device alerts users with vibrations and LED notifications when any two individuals come within 2 meters of each other. It can be worn as a wristband, used as an access card or carried in a pocket.
When a user tests positive for COVID-19, the contact tracing logs preserved thus far in the wearable are collected by the back-end with the consent of the user, the logs are then analyzed to identify a potential spread, and affected users are notified.
Additionally, the devices enable real-time tracking of shared space usage to facilitate enforcing upper occupancy limits. The feature is key to enable facility managers to keep track of and adapt to the peaks and troughs of building occupancy, check the real-time occupancy and take proactive steps to keep occupants and employees safer.
Saepio’s mobile phone application pairs to the wearables for additional identity management, quarantine enforcement, lab test results delivery, community updates, health directives, information, and quarantine lifecycle management: Initiation, termination, request for suspension.
The scriptr.io cloud solution provides power and versatility that features:
