Senseye, a provider of predictive maintenance software, recently appointed Peter Livaudais to lead its operations in France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg and the French-speaking areas of Switzerland, according to a recent announcement.

Livaudais, who joins Senseye from design company attoma, has more than 30 years of experience working in data, analytics and technology across Europe. Prior to its acquisition by Cisco, he was a director at the IoT analytics platform company ParStream. Livaudais led ParStream’s expansion into France and managed its strategic partnerships in the region while leading the TMForum’s Big Data Analytics working group.

At Senseye, Livaudais will be responsible for managing relationships with key customers in France and finding new opportunities across the region with large-scale organizations in sectors such as automotive, energy and heavy industry. Senseye, which uses advanced machine learning algorithms to automatically identify emerging problems with industrial machinery and predict precisely when monitored assets are likely to fail, is going through a period of rapid expansion due to growing demand for its software around the world.

“Our predictive maintenance software is proven to help large industrial organizations minimize unplanned downtime, improve maintenance practices and become more efficient,” said Simon Kampa, CEO of Senseye. “Peter’s experience and relationships will help drive our expansion in mainland Europe and ensure that our customers maximize the returns that can be achieved by using Senseye.”

“Leading manufacturers have halved their levels of unplanned downtime, boosted the productivity of maintenance staff by 55 percent and achieved maintenance cost reductions of up to 40 percent by using Senseye,” said Livaudais. “The potential for Senseye is enormous and I am delighted to join the company to help build its market presence and expand its already impressive client list.”
