September 26, 2019

According to a recent announcement, Altizon, an industrial IIoT platform company, has appointed Tyson King to the position of Vice President of Sales for North America.

In the past year, Altizon said it has seen a considerable increase from both global and regional manufacturers looking to deploy its Datonis IIoT solution throughout North America, which now accounts for approximately 20 percent of the company’s revenues. King will be responsible for spearheading the company’s sales and support efforts in the U.S. and Canada. A technology industry veteran, King comes to Altizon with more than 20 years of complex sales and business development experience in large multi-national companies and small, nimble startups.

“Over the past year, Altizon has experienced significant success in both Europe and Asia with global customers, and those customers are now looking to expand their IIoT deployments in North America. Additionally, U.S. based manufacturers are continuing to embrace digital transformation strategies resulting in an increased demand for Altizon’s offerings,” said Vinay Nathan, CEO, Altizon. “With Tyson’s proven ability for creating highly-engaged and collaborative sales teams that deliver extraordinary results, we expect the North American region to be a real growth engine for our company for the foreseeable future.”

“I am excited and eager to help our global, U.S. and Canadian manufacturers attain a significant competitive advantage with Altizon’s proven technology,” said King. “The opportunity for Altizon to dramatically change the manufacturing landscape in North America now is tremendous. We are looking forward to helping manufacturers digitally transform their operations, and quickly realize the business value of IIoT while delivering measurable ROI results.”
