Ahead of the fast-approaching IoT Evolution Expo 2024 (more details on this event can be found below), let’s talk about IIoT and automated forklift and labor solutions provider, Fox Robotics.
Fox Robotics “Supply Chain: Solved” M.O. involves some of the latest-and-greatest developments in robotics, machine learning (ML) and operational optimizations to build automated forklifts that are as smartly designed as they are safe and effective when it comes to routine use. Whether we’re talking about the FoxBot unloader or Fox Robotics’ Automated Trailer Unloaders (ATUs), operators only need to spend a few minutes on each trailer (and a single operator’s workload is measurably boosted). With several unloaders, according to Fox Robotics, an operator can unload “from 20 to 100 trailers per shift.” No IT or WMS integrations necessary; installing and beginning to utilize Fox Robotics’ solutions is quick and – in the big picture – lowers labor costs, reduces workplace accidents, and helps to address undue labor challenges along the way.
And just this week, Fox Robotics made an exciting announcement:
Fox Robotics’ installed base of FoxBots have reportedly unloaded “over 2.5 million pallets since the company introduced the innovation in 2019.”
(That’s a whole plethora of pallets, to be sure.)
According to one of the company’s representatives, Fox Robotics “nearly tripled its annual recurring revenue (ARR) from 2022 to 2023 and has since doubled its installed FoxBot fleet.”
"We created the Fox Robotics autonomous trailer loader/unloader to solve for the very critical automation of the warehouse gateway – the shipping and receiving dock. In doing so, we've unlocked the last piece of the end-to-end automation puzzle, enabling logistics operators across many verticals to automate end-to-end fulfillment operations," stated Marin Tchakarov, Fox Robotics President and CEO. "The growth in Fox Robotics ATL deployments over the last three years is proof positive of the maturity of our autonomous solution, as our expanding customer base relies on it daily for their logistics workflows."
For additional features of the FoxBot – including specific unloading capabilities down to the pallets-per-hour statistics, its 360-degree monitoring and cameras/LiDAR sensors, its all-electric rechargeable system and more – read here.
