Recently, SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. debuted its SS&C Blue Prism Next Generation platform for intelligent automation. SS&C’s Blue Prism was specifically designed to deliver capabilities both continuous and ultra-agile for its users; when we first wrote about it (read that article on our Future of Work News site by clicking here), it quickly became clear that big things were in motion.
As it turns out, that was a spot-on hunch.
Some additional context first:
Let’s talk about SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc., shall we?
For nearly 40 years, SS&C has developed and provided technology and services that power its customers’ industry-specific (and often complex and interconnected) solutions. With its prime focus on healthcare, wealth management and fintech ecosystems, SS&C wields artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), predictive analytics, micro-service cloud architecture, natural language processing (NLP) and real-time computing (paired with customizable service models, notably) to create powerful solutions for use cases involving asset management, banking, hedge funds, insurance, private markets and retirement, as well as healthcare operationalization support for payers, providers and pharmacy benefits managers.
Now, SS&C has announced the findings of “The Total Economic Impact” (TEI) study that examined the impacts of its SS&C Blue Prism intelligent automation platform and the corresponding benefits to organizations that adopted it and are still actively deploying what it has to offer.
Truly, the results speak for themselves. (But we’ll tally them up, anyhow.)
The study found that the organizations it interviewed that used/are still using the SS&C Blue Prism platform calculated a broad ROI of 330%, representing a net present value of $53.4 million.
To quote the famous Inspector Gadget character, that is a certified “Wowzers.” figure for SS&C.
This comes at a time when a.) efficiency and b.) revenue growth are incredibly vital. (Granted they virtually always are, but with the automation-boom-in-progress age we’re living it that becomes even more important.)
“Over the last five years,” explained the team behind the TEI study, “intelligent automation has moved from addressing mainly operational challenges to handling full-on strategic challenges. It’s also increasingly driven by smart management and leadership. Today, automation managed must be coordinated across an organization, rather than leaving it siloed.
“Our findings confirm the SS&C Blue Prism Next Generation intelligent automation platform provides the exact capability to drive real business growth, enhance productivity, and improve lasting employee retention,” stated Bill Stone, CEO of SS&C Blue Prism. “Our end-to-end automation and orchestration enable our customers to drive the requisite value and efficiency to achieve groundbreaking, transformative results.”
